Yvonne (Sue) [Hansen] Norlen, 73, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2022, after a year-long battle with cancer.

Sue was born in Watertown, SD and grew up in Vienna, SD and graduated from Willow Lake High School. She then attended Watertown Business University. After school she worked in Minneapolis for a period before meeting Tom. They were married in 1969 and moved to Red Wing, MN. After 2 years, Tom & Sue moved to Two Harbors, MN where they owned a distributing business for 17 years after which they moved to Fairmont, MN for 10 years until moving to Watertown, SD for 6 years and then Sioux Falls.

Sue was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a friend to many. Sue spent her life taking care of her children and grandchildren. Her happiest days were caring for her grandkids and coming up with fun surprises for them, such as games at Christmas.

Sue is lovingly remembered by her husband Tom, daughter Heidi [Jason], her son, Trevor [Jodi Hyatt], her daughter-in-law, Shelly Norlen, her grandchildren, Ben [Liesha] Schiebout, Justin Schiebout, Madysen [Connor Eckmann] Norlen, Caitlin Norlen, Collin Norlen, greatgrandchild Asher Eckmann, and surviving family members, Wayne [Pam] Hansen, Net [Rich] Hinkley, Val [Nordean] Froke, Lori [Mike] Roinstad. Proceeded in death by her son John Norlen, sister Marlys Hansen, parents, Harold and Mavis Hansen.
