Sandra Bangsund, 82, of Two Harbors, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Hilltop Health and Rehab in Duluth.

Sandy was born September 17, 1941, to Norman and Florence (Rosen) Ronning in Duluth and was a life-long resident of Two Harbors. In 1958 she married James Bangsund and was a homemaker through the years while her children were growing. In later years she was employed by Irresistible Ink.

Sandy was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Women of the Moose.

She enjoyed quilting, hardanger, and time spent with her family.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Bangsund; daughters, Debora Rustad, and Sherry Bangsund; and sisters, Susanne Johnson, and Mona Kempfert.

She is survived by her son, Chris (Eddie) Bangsund; grandchildren, Justin and Aaron Rustad and Calli and Lars Bangsund; great-grandson Cooper Rustad, a sister, Norma Rhodes; and nieces and nephews.
