Cheerio the chinchilla. He's 4 years old and is hands down the messiest and highest maintenance pet ever. He even has his own air conditioner, since chinchillas are native to the Andes Mountains in Chile and cannot tolerate temperatures over 75°F. Another cool fact is that chinchillas have a lifespan of 15-20 years if properly cared for. Cheerio's favorite treat is apple sticks. He hates to be held, but loves ear rubs and neck scratches. Cheerio’s best friend is Padmé.
