Marjorie “Margie” Ann Murphy, 94, Two Harbors, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Northern Lights Nursing Home in Washburn, Wisconsin.

Margie was born August 2, 1927 to Elsa and Vanner Falk. She attended Two Harbors public schools and worked at a brokerage firm in Duluth prior to her marriage to Earl “Bud” Murphy. She and Bud raised three children and were lifelong residents of Two Harbors.

Margie loved playing cards with friends and family. She and Bud spent many winters in Arizona, escaping the harsh Minnesota winters. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and other needlework. She was a great cook and known for her delicious pies. She was a devout Catholic and lifelong member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Two Harbors, Mn.

Margie is survived by her son Craig “Dan” (Gail) Murphy of Bayfield, Wi. , son in-law Jim Udovich of Two Harbors and daughter in-law Theresa Murphy of Olympia, Wash. She was preceded in death by her husband “Bud”, daughter Vickie Udovich and son Kevin Murphy of Olympia, Wash. She had six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Margie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She touched everyone’s lives with compassion and kindness. She will be sadly missed.
