Lynne Zapolski getting a “Happy Retirement” hug from Louise’s Place regular, Laura Lingo. Lingo exclaimed “Thanks for feeding me!” as she delivered the warm embrace on Lynne’s final day of work last Friday. Lingo says that when she and her wife moved to Two Harbors in 2018 Lynne made her feel welcome and she was always ready with a smile. Lynne first worked for Louise at Louise’s place 23 years ago and over the years worked for her at Sonju. Current co-owner of Louise’s Place, Dan Snowdon said, “Lynne has been a great help to us over the years. Everyone in town knows her, and she will be missed.” *Fun Fact: Louise’s Place won 1st place in the Winter Frolic Chili Cook-off last weekend!
