Lyle H. Peters, 85, Duluth, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Lyle was born February 20, 1937 to Harry and Freda (Marker) Peters in Two Harbors, where he grew up and attended high school. 1. He went on to marry his high school sweetheart, Leone Monson, and become a registered architect and part owner of Architectural Resources, Duluth.

He enjoyed horseback riding, animals, spending time on their country property and traveling with Leone in their RV. Lyle’s hobbies included restoring vintage cars and tractors and creating a model train landscape.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Leone; daughters Lynn (Jim) Grandson, and Lori Gnahn; grandchildren, Brett (Emily) Grandson, Krystal Kellerman, Zach Gnahn, Emily (Ryan) Peterson, and Grace Gnahn; great-grandchild, Silvia Grandson; and brother, William Gerald “Jerry” Peters.
