Winter Reading at the Two Harbors Public Library
Happy winter reading season! The library’s annual all ages winter reading program runs January 1-February 28. Pick up a reading log at the front desk during your next library visit and join in the fun.
Getting a Bingo on your reading log will earn you a visit to the library’s prize box. If you get a blackout by completing all 9 activities, you earn another visit to the prize box as well as a chance to win one of 15 custom Two Harbors Public Library stocking hats. Stay snug and stylish while showing the world that books are always on your mind! Many thanks to the Friends of the Two Harbors Public Library for their financial support of library incentives.
Participants can log their reading using our online platform Beanstack, or paper activity packets that include a bingo card. If you have already used Beanstack for previous library reading programs, you can use your same login information. Signing up is easy and free with a library card. You can access the site from our website, https://www.twoharborspubliclibrary.com/ or from the direct link, https://twoharborspubliclibrary.beanstack.org/. There is also an App available through your device’s app store.
The library offers reading challenges to encourage our community to make reading a regular activity. You do not need to be a resident of Two Harbors to participate, nor do you need a library card – but of course, we’re happy to sign you up for one! Any reading you do will count towards the Winter Reading Program, ranging from the Lake County Press to your favorite novel. And don’t forget, if you read to someone that reading counts for both of you! If you’re looking for your next great read, just ask a library staff member for a recommendation. We are here to help!
Visit the library for more information about reading – in any season! Our hours are 9:30-5:00 Monday/Wednesday/Friday and 11:30-7:00 Tuesday/Thursday.
