A former staff at Lutsen Lodge Resort, LCPress columnist Marc Elliott was shook last Tuesday morning when he got the news of the fire that took out the Lodge’s historic main building.Elliott came to the north shore in 1988 to work for the group of investors that had then bought the resort from the original owners, the Nelson family.
