We’ve discussed curiosity as a practice. Curiosity can help us discover a lot of lost common ground. It’s not the whole story if we want to restore our world after the pandemic, however. Sometimes, even with good research and enlightened discussion, we will disagree–and we will believe that others have caused harm through their false beliefs. What do we do then?

Sincere thanks to Scott Ross, coaches, athletes, and fans for the tear-jerking recognition before the boys basketball game against Barnum on Friday night. I was not aware of it, he (Ross) did a great job of surprising me and arranged for my whole family to be there.
To the Editor, My husband and I have been looking into solar options and ways to have local energy independence, and as part of that research contacted Coop Light and Power about their solar garden project. The solar garden is a good solution if buildings cannot handle solar adequately.
Spring Break 2022! They say it’s gonna be epic! But is it? Let us consider. Spring Break is a strangely named week in March wherein the schools, the same ones that were hitherto educating our children, for some inexplicable reason, set them free.

In his book A Gentle Thunder, Max Lucado speaks about Wile E. Coyote from the old Roadrunner cartoons. Wile E. chases after his skinny (but intelligent) prey, and just as he’s about to grab his lunch, the roadrunner steps aside and stops on a dime right on the edge of a huge canyon. Wile E., his momentum built to a feverish pitch cannot stop – and over the edge he goes. He doesn’t fall right away. Instead, pausing in mid-air, he looks down, and gets that “oh-boy-is-this-gonna-hurt” stare. Finally he plummets with a small puff of smoke as he hits the canyon floor.

March 8 is International Women’s Day. Don’t ask me how I know this. I just do. So let us speak of Woman, specifically the International Woman. I like her. Very much. In my opinion She deserves much more than a day. But time waits for no man. Or woman, it seems. So… let’s get to it.
