I was pleased to see Katya's Corner last week in which Katya Gordon acknowledges that "climate change is not, per se, the issue of our time". Indeed, it is not! It is only a symptom of the much more fundamental predicament we have gotten ourselves into. "...the real problem" she states, "is the degradation of the planet."
Watching the Minnesota Class A State Track and Field meet, I could not help but be wowed by the blood, sweat, and tears on display as teenagers put their hearts, emotions, vulnerabilities, and bodies on the line to see what they could do. And I would point out that strong thunderstorms were being forecasted, to which he would respond that, “Well, that’s ok. But it would be better if we had a day or two of a continuous, gentle rain, so that the ground would be soaked well, but not flooded.”

All efforts to nurture our planet Earth seem to be coming together in delicious ways as the ground and trees turn green and the number of people ready to make personal changes or speak from the heart grows and grows. The world is full of possibility!
