Lee Greenfield was a tireless worker for improved health care and disability programs as a member of the Minnesota Legislature. Greenfield, a DFLer who served 11 terms in the Minnesota House, was a true disability rights advocate. He was deeply concerned about the affordability of health care, and played a key role in establishing MinnesotaCare.
To the Editor, I am writing in response to last weeks' Letter to the Editor from Glenn Johnson. Every year I enjoy coming up to Two Harbors and was excited to hear there might be some development happening on Lighthouse Point. After reading his letter I want to point out that he may not understand or has been misinformed on how Tax Increment Financing (TIF) works.
