Long-Time LC Historical Society board members retire
The Lake County Historical Society held a special event at the Depot Museum on Wednesday, April 12th to honor two long-time board members, Dory Pearson, and Ken Sandvik as they retire from the board. Dory Pearson has been on the board for over 20 years. In that time, she has served as board president, vice president and secretary. Ken Sandvik has also served for over twenty years, and most recently as vice-president.
Deadly counterfeit pills in Lake County contain Fentanyl
Life Saver Award given to THPD Stein, Jones Last week the Two Harbors and Silver Bay police departments, and the Lake County Sheriff put out a public service announcement warning residents of the presence of deadly fentanyl-laced counterfeit pills. “Fentanyl is here, and people need to know how dangerous it is,” said Two Harbors police chief Rick Hogenson.
