VA Health - Beneficiary Travel A topic which I receive many questions, comments and more often complaints… Beneficiary Travel. The VA program, better known as travel pay reimbursement, pays eligible Veterans for mileage and other travel expenses to and from approved health care appointments.

April Fools it is! So, by the time this gets to your eyes I hope we are looking at warmer days. But currently the buzz has been about the weather.
The steady snow melt is saturating our parched soils, and soon buds will open revealing a sea of green. Northern gardeners are dreaming of tending to plants in the fresh air and starting seeds indoors to transplant. Many vegetables and flowers can be started indoors, and seed starting can be a simple task. A general rule of thumb is to plan 4-6 weeks of growing indoors before transplanting outdoors. Also consider that our average last frost dates in our hardiness zones 3b-4b are June 5th-11th. Counting back leads us to the middle to end of April before starting many of our annual seeds.

Penny and Jamie Juenemann have been host parents for exchange students several times over the years, each time welcoming a student into their Two Harbors home as part of their family. Those family connections remain intact when the student returns to their home country, and now, one of their family members is in trouble.
The council discussed development of their ongoing Multi-Modal Trailhead project at length, including a presentation by city engineer Joe Rhein from Bolton-Menk. City Administrator Lana Fralich shared information regarding work already underway in the planning process for the center, which is expected to cost around $3 million, and stated that engineering work needs to begin moving forward in order to keep the project on track.
The Festival of Sail is coming to Two Harbors, and questions abound. Craig Samborski, head promoter and producer of the Festival of Sail through his company Draw Events LLC, shared details.
