Camp House, now and then

Last weekend members of the United Church, Two Harbors, gathered for a picnic at the old Camp House in Brimson.Situated on Lake George the YMCA and railroad started a youth camp there in 1923, making a reasonably affordable option for beach time and an outdoor experience for children of folks who worked for the railroad.Pat Olson, 86, was back at Camp House Saturday.

Two Harbors Community Theater ready to make a comeback

Those who crave theatrical opportunities in Two Harbors will soon have the opportunity to find an outlet for their creative impulses, whether it’s stage managing, lighting, acting, singing, or sets.Two Harbors has not been home to a community theater production since “Fences” in 2018, a Lake Superior Community theater (LSCT) production based out of Silver Bay that shared its north shore talent with Two Harbors audiences.
