Career Expo at THHS Close to eighty vendors marketed jobs, internships, and students to universities and colleges at Monday’s Chamber of Commerce Job Fair at the Two Harbors High School gymnasium. Students were let out of class and bussed from Silver Bay to search for summer jobs or learn about career pathways. Janelle Jones, Lake County Chamber Director, said she hopes this is the “first of many,” and that the turnout was great. “We want people to understand career paths right here. Anyone can walk in here today and leave with a job,”she said. “People are taking applications today.” The gymnasium buzzed with youthful activity from noon to 4:00 p.m. and then opened to the public until 8:00 p.m. photo by Katya Gordon
