An inspiration to help with the annual 'snowbanks are gone and whoa what was hiding under there?' pick up! Two Harbors resident Jody Zastera did her part this spring as snowmelt revealed a total of 464 Fireball cinnamon whisky bottles along Antonich Rd. (Yes! She definitely counted them!) It took her a couple of days with her handy garbage grabber to pick them all upand then she had to unscrew all the caps and dump out a couple ounces of sticky fluid. Such a champion of spring cleaning should inspire the rest of us to get out there and get that garbage. Was it a rogue recycling bag blown away? Why would one person have so many tiny, partly filled whisky bottles? We may never knowbut we do know that Jody is a great neighbor.
