Between May 11 and May 25 over 30,000 acres of wildland burned in the Brimson Complex fires, much of the perimeter contained as of the 25th. Fire experts warn that while green-up and some cooler, rainy days have been helpful, containment does not mean the fires are out, a process which can take weeks, or even months.

Offering steady familiar contributors for handmade items, art, baked goods and homegrown foods, outdoor Market enthusiasts can find good conversations and fine things to buy with locals at both Seagren’s parking lot with the Two Harbors Farmers Market and Burlington Station’s The Market on Saturdays during the warmer months.
