Two Harbors talks cannabis
City attorney Tim Costley clarified for the council at Monday night’s meeting a proposed moratorium being recommended to be placed on cannabis businesses related to growing cannabis, but not retail sales.Further explanation followed that social equity applications will be taken by the state this week and should an applicant within the city be awarded one the city is still currently without any ordinance regarding cannabis growing.Growing cannabis is expected to be allowed on a commercial level in Minnesota for state licensed growers later this year.
