The town hall organized with the Lake County Press and MPR’s Kerri Miller will be played on Minnesota Public Radio at 9:00 am on Tuesday, October 24th.The Rural Voice 2024 series included an event held at the Castle Danger Brewery on September 19th with Miller moderating the conversation about “What it takes to create good, affordable housing in Rural Minnesota; stories and solutions.”The Lake County Press helped bring the event about in the hopes of elevating the conversation around our area’s housing crisis, and focusing energy throughout the north shore communities on actionable solutions.The entire discussion was aired on KTWH-99.5FM and is still available at KTWH’s youtube channel.In addition to the Lake County Press housing town hall, Miller has produced three other Rural Voice town halls, two of which will be aired at that same time slot on following Tuesdays.
