From a Pastor’s Heart

New beginnings can be very exciting. For Julie and I at this point in our lives, after nearly 30 years at First Baptist, our new beginnings have recently been coming in the form of grandkids. We are up to four now, all being three years and under. Each of them is so unique, and each of them is such a blessing! Each a new life started.

Another Weird Winter It was 71 degrees Fahrenheit as I was skiing into my sugarbush over two feet of sloppy snow. In yet another season where the conditions on the ground differed from the historical norm, and seemed to push toward extremes that our grandparents would not have known, I was checking taps to see if the sap was running.
