We All Make Mistakes An elderly lady did her shopping and, upon returning to the parking lot, found four males sitting in her car. She dropped her shopping bags and drew her handgun, proceeding to scream at them at the top of her lungs that she knows how to use it and that she will if required – so get out of the car! The four men didn’t wait around for a second invitation but got out and ran like mad, whereupon the lady loaded her shopping bags into the front seat and got into the driver’s seat.

Masked Fan Speaks

If you like hockey, this time of year in The State of Hockey is a veritable smorgasbord of the game we love. In the past week, the Girls State High School tourney was held and Gentry Academy prevailed in Class AA over Andover by a 4-1 final and Warroad repeated as the Class A Champ with a 3-1 win over Orono. At the annual Ms. Hockey banquet this afternoon, Edina senior netminder Uma Corniea was chosen as the senior goaltender of the year and Andovers Ella Boerger was crowned as the Ms. Hockey winner. I got to see several tournament games over the week and this event just keeps getting better and better.

Every player on Mite 2s contributes

Last weekend, the Two Harbors Mite 2 Maroon team participated in the 'Colder by the Lake' tournament in Superior. After a hard fought first game loss, the team battled back to win the next three games. These were the first games where they 'officially' kept score for these Mite 2s and their schedule depended on whether they won or lost.
