wind last Monday afternoon . I stopped at Castle Danger Brewery hoping to find a random stranger. Sure enough. I met Lacey Fisher who was super friendly and agreed wholeheartedly to be our Random Stranger this week.

Our patients, like almost everyone else in this world, see what they want to see, hear what they want to hear, and do what they want to do. A couple of examples: When I was practicing alone in a small farming community, one day a farmer stopped into my office and asked if I would make a house call to his farm to see if his very old mother had glaucoma.

Federal mining ban protects BWCAW and locks up renewable energy minerals
Last week a federal mining ban was put in place specifically prohibiting new mineral and geothermal exploration and development that would protect the Boundary Waters and Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) watershed and the 1854 Ceded Territory of the Chippewa Bands.
