In my grandmother’s unique handwriting is a history of part of my family dating back to 1780 Sweden. Believe me, there are plenty of Olof ’s and Ivar’s and Helvine’s, with a fair number of Anna’s, which was grandma’s name. Yes, there were Ole’s and Otto’s and Thora’s as well, with a smattering of Hans’s and Olava’s found in the old days.

Carol Youngberg, 87, of Silver Bay died Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Edgewood Vista in Hermantown. She was born on June 14, 1935 to Edwin and Eleanor (Hendrickson) Koslakiewicz in Duluth, where she grew up.
