Nordic ski team competes in frigid temps

Another frigid meet for the North Shore Storm Nordic Ski team occurred on Tuesday, December 20 in Grand Rapids against six other teams. According to Head Coach Baylee Johnson, 'Below zero temperatures did not phase our skiers one bit, it shows their pure joy and dedication to their team and cross country skiing. They love to have fun!' Temperatures that day were -4 F with a -13 F windchill.

Robo Dweebs win core values award

Earlier in December the Robo Dweebs Lego robotics team at Two Harbors came away from regional competition with the Core Values Award. A lot goes in to competing, and coach Jenna Udenberg says that after all the hard work this teams favorite Core Value is FUN! Reluctant Editor’s note: I missed the deadline for last week’s issue and the opportunity to offer my annual lutefisk column. Please note that lutefisk is still in fashion in some households this week. I know one fellow in Two Harbors that has eaten lutefisk every day since Thanksgiving and he said he won’t stop now.
