Catch the Good

There are so many things we must do to our dogs as we provide basic care for them. Procedures like nail clipping, brushing teeth, getting vaccinations, and giving medications are just a few that come to mind. Many dogs express their displeasure with these procedures by trembling, hiding, growling, or even biting. It's stressful and potentially hazardous for both the dog and the human. What if I told you, it didn't have to be this way? What if I told you that your dog could willingly opt to participate in routine care like nail clipping? What if there was a way to give your dog a choice to participate?

Football Agates beat the Bluejackets in the final home game of the regular season

The Two Harbors Football team was triumphant on Friday, October 14, against the Hibbing Bluejackets in their final home game of the regular season. The final score was 59-14. Deacon Bark ran a 47-yard touchdown halfway through the first quarter which put Two Harbors on the scoreboard first. Just a few minutes later, Tate Nelson intercepted the ball and then ran 44 yards for another touchdown. Quarterback Ethan Bopp ran the ball from the 1-yard line for the 3rd touchdown of the first quarter.

North Shore Storm dominates conference cross country meet at Pincushion

Perhaps buoyed on by the home field advantage (Pincushion is known for its grueling hills), or the finally cooled-off weather (40s temperatures–perfect for running), the North Shore Storm, the North Shore’s cross country team with runners from Cook County, Silver Bay, and Two Harbors, completed what is by all accounts a strong showing at their Conference meet at Pincushion Ski Area in Grand Marais on Thursday, October13.
