Inspiration Station

The Northshore is known for the wealth of talented artists who live and work throughout the region. And, to this point, I am highly impressed with the support of local businesses, organizations and media outlets to welcome and feature the artists’ work. Tettegouche State Park in Silver Bay, Harbor Rails Pub & Event Center in Two Harbors and the Public libraries along the shore are just a few who host exhibits on a regular basis. Not to mention the many gift shops and galleries who make it a priority to sell locally produced art.

Here’s to hoping for the perfect weather all summer long… (whatever that may be.) Until next time……

And I would point out that strong thunderstorms were being forecasted, to which he would respond that, “Well, that’s ok. But it would be better if we had a day or two of a continuous, gentle rain, so that the ground would be soaked well, but not flooded.”

Nature Nurtures

The local Renegade Riders Saddle Club hosted The Two Harbors Play Day on Saturday June 5th. The Tom Gow arena at the Lake County Fairgrounds smelled sweetly of horses and summer. It began with the American flag and delivered good clean fun for young and old.
