According to the facebook page of the Resign or Recall group after the evening event held at the community center on March 30 over 600 signatures had already been collected from eligible voters in the city, calling for a recall.
At a Two Harbors City council meeting on March 28 city attorney Tim Costley turned in his opinion rendered at the direction of the council on several issues regarding Mayor Chris Swanson. While the results of the city attorney’s opinion were not reviewed during the meetings on March 28, they were included as part of the council packet open to public review.
