“Music to Feed the Soul” has deep roots, as evidenced by the full house it has drawn in numerous years and the 620 views from the virtual extravaganza produced last year which, even without a live concert, raised $4000 for the Two Harbors Area Food Shelf. According to event organizer Mark Gordon, the 2022 music concert is “somewhere around” the 16th annual concert, and continues a “happy partnership” between the United Church, musicians, and the Food Shelf. It started with just a few musicians from United Church, but has expanded to bringing in talent from all over the area, both professionals and homegrown amateurs whose single annual appearance is this concert. With an enthusiastic audience, all get rave reviews. At least one performer comes from Two Harbors High School every year.
