A Look at the Past

This group of Shriners from the Kem Temple in Grand Forks, North Dakota wheeled into Two Harbors in their twoway limousine back in the early 1990s. "We can park on any side of the street," one of the merrymakers said. The group was in Duluth for a national convention and toured the North Shore where they got plenty of looks.

Lake County GOP, DFL Party Members Participate in Caucuses

Caucuses for the Republican and Democratic parties were held in Lake County last Monday, February 7, in conjunction with precinct caucuses throughout the state. Republican party chair for Lake County Tim Jezierski reported that turn out for the three locations, Silver Bay, Fall Lake, and Two Harbors, saw some of the largest numbers of participants according to their records going back to the early 2000s.
