City of Two Harbors Meeting Highlights
In a nine-minute special meeting of the Two Harbors city council on Thursday, January 20th a resolution was passed unanimously to refer the matter of whether certain social media publications made by Mayor Chris Swanson violate city code, charter, policies, or state statute to the Minnesota Attorney General.
John Beargrease Sled Dog Race 2022 Hits the Trail this Weekend
The main event of this year’s John Beargrease Sled Dog Race kicks off with the marathon start on Sunday, January 30 at 10:00 am from Billy’s Bar in Duluth. John Beargrease was part of an Anishinabe family living near Beaver Bay, and became legendary because of his mail delivery between Two Harbors and Grand Marais between 1879 and 1899.
